Brandon Larkin D.D.S.

Brandon Larkin D.D.S. has been a pediatric dentist in the Tampa area since 2016. He enjoys building relationships with patients and their families to promote a lifetime of good oral health. Believing that education is the best prevention, he emphasizes preventative routines and treatment.

Dr. Larkin was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Larkin developed a passion for working with his hands by doing carpentry work with his father at an early age. In college, he found that dentistry provided an opportunity to apply that passion while impacting the lives of others.

Dr. Larkin graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain Behavior and Cognitive Neuroscience. He graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Larkin then pursued specialized training in Pediatric Dentistry at Miami Children’s Hospital. His training focused on providing dental care to children, teens and chronic patients with special healthcare needs. He has extensive training in dental trauma and craniofacial abnormalities as well as conscious and unconscious sedation.

Dr. Larkin is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry the Florida Dental Association and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He has also been a member of the craniofacial teams at Miami Children’s Hospital and Johns Hopkins All Children’s hospital. He has presented research at the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics. In addition, his research has been accepted for publication in Pediatrics, a leading journal for pediatricians.

Dr. Larkin understands that going to the dentist can be a fearful experience and thus strives to create a fun, safe, and trusting environment. He encourages parents to be involved in developing care plans for their children and welcomes them to the treatment area.

In his free time Dr. Larkin enjoys college football, the beach, and spending time with his fiancé Trish.

Dr. Lexie Bellows, DMD

Dr. Lexie has practiced as a general dentist for six years in Canada and found that her passion was working with children. Her desire was to provide the best possible care for children, so she went back to school in her thirties to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. After she finished her residency and fellowship, she moved to South Carolina where she worked with a pediatric dentist in Mount Pleasant. She found South Carolina too cold, so in 2003, she moved to New Port Richey, Florida, where she started working between offices in New Port Richey, Clearwater and Plant City. In her own words, “I have been blessed and honored to have the opportunity to be a part of the team at A Safari Dental.”
